This is the ninth album from After Daylight.

Although many of the personal issues that fed into the previous album, 'The Edge Of Darkness', are still prevalent within my personal life, I have been learning to deal with them better this year. This seems to have fed into this album and the result is more positive record than the previous one. There are still some dark themes but the balance is a bit better with this new album.

Other than the drums, everything on the album was recorded using guitars. A lot of time was spent creating more interesting textures and layers within the music thanks to a combination of new and old guitar pedals.
